"Yellow Toad is known simply as Toad in this game"
I've tried to remove this info once before, but it was reverted presumably because I wasn't clear enough in my edit summary. I didn't want to start an edit war, so I posted here instead. This particular info should be removed. Both Toads have always been known as "Toad" in-game, in the manuals, and on the nintendo.com game descriptions. Yellow Toad was never known as "Yellow Toad" in the original NSMBU, and even if some Prima guide called him "Yellow Toad", the information is still irrelevant as in-game he is simply known as Toad. This is not a difference from the original game, and as the original NSMBU also called him "Toad", this info should be removed. -YFJ (talk · edits) 22:08, 3 October 2018 (EDT)
- Never mind, I just removed the info from the "differences" section, as it's completely irrelevant there. - I did learn that shortly after posting the first post here, but even though it's an official name it's never used in-game in either NSMBW or NSMBU. It's not even used in the NSMBU manual. I saw that as enough reason to remove the info from the Differences section. As much as I'd like to remove it from the other place as well, that's just going to spiral into an edit war, so I decided to hold off on doing that until the port is released. -YFJ (talk · edits) 15:53, 19 October 2018 (EDT)
- Well it's the only name we have for him, since the "Ala-Gold" thing is almost definitely a hoax, since its origins seem to be the infamous Star War: The Third Gathers: Backstroke of the West, a poorly-done Hong Kong subtitling of Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, where Anakin was mistranslated as "Allah Gold" (from Chinese ana jin). Anyways, I doubt that that would be used by the Japanese developers on purpose or by accident, it just can't have been. Maybe an early localizer nickname, but I don't really think that counts for anything any more than the "badass princess" thing for Mario + Rabbids. - I understand. It doesn't count as an in-game difference though, and just because they called him "Toad" in the Direct does not mean that the actual product will call him "Toad". Outside of the NSMBW manual, he has always been called "Toad", not "Yellow Toad". New Super Mario Bros. subseries page
Since the New Super Mario Bros. subseries has always been a constant series within the Super Mario series, is it worth giving the subseries its own page?

- All necessary information is covered on Super Mario (series). We don't need any subseries pages here because the main Super Mario series page handles it just fine. Important changes needed!
At Gameplay:
At "The jump controls are now shared with the mid-air spin, performed by pressing B Button or A Button in mid-air, consistent to a similar control scheme in Super Mario Run, having jump and mid-air spin mapped to a touch input." -Can someone please add that you can still twirl in mid-air by using L and R, because otherwise.
At "In the pause menu during levels, buttons on the controller can be remapped."
-This is fake, also, why did anyone believe the "source" even though it lied about 200 seconds in Luigi U (didn't specify that this is character specific) and that you can play as Mario in Luigi U, also, the source is unofficial (if it can be called as a source, this is a fan-post, not a source; the post listed other sources, which are also fake predictions, posted even earlier), and posted before the release of the game. I don't really think the editors played this game, it would be nice that not only old sources would be trusted.
