Sergeant Flutter is a gray-shelled Paratroopa who commands a squadron Red Paratroopas during the events of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. He and his troops help Mario ascend the steep cliff at the end of Land’s End. By hopping from Paratroopa to Paratroopa, Mario can reach the top and the entrance to Bean Valley. Additionally, if Mario completes the task fast enough, he may be rewarded with a prize!
Sergeant Flutter has good relations with Monstermama, the leader of Monstro Town. In fact, it is Monstermama that requests Flutter to help Mario in the first place.
