Thank you for your recent uploads. I would request, however, that when giving a file a name, you are a little more specific in the files name. What would help the most is by at least adding the game it is used in with the game's abbreviation (Super Mario Maker-->SMM), and potentially adding in other information as well, such as 'Clipperboard Sprite'. For more information, read [[MarioWiki:Image use policy|the wiki's guide]] or [[User:Trig Jegman#Trig How to Rename Files|my own guide]]. Thanks again and happy editing. To add to the above, please keep in mind that the file must be filled in with a [[Help:License|license]] and image category as well as a description. Instead of using the wiki text editor's uploader, I would suggest using the default [[Special:Upload]] function in the future (as recommended on the editor uploader's dialog box: "You may also want to try the default upload page."). From there, in "Summary", you fill in the parameters for {{tem|aboutfile}} (replacing "Subject of the image" with what the image shows, etc.) and replace {{tem|uncategorized}} with a category from [[:Category:MarioWiki images]] (so for a ''[[Super Mario Maker]]'' image, you'd add in <code><nowiki>[[Category:Super Mario Maker Images]]</nowiki></code>), and in "Licensing", simply select from the drop-down menu what the image is (game screenshot, sprite etc.) {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 19:54, January 11, 2020 (EST) |

Names
Thank you for your recent uploads. I would request, however, that when giving a file a name, you are a little more specific in the files name. What would help the most is by at least adding the game it is used in with the game's abbreviation (Super Mario Maker-->SMM), and potentially adding in other information as well, such as 'Clipperboard Sprite'. For more information, read the wiki's guide or my own guide. Thanks again and happy editing. Trig - 11:48, January 11, 2020 (EST)
File uploads
To add to the above, please keep in mind that the file must be filled in with a license and image category as well as a description. Instead of using the wiki text editor's uploader, I would suggest using the default Special:Upload function in the future (as recommended on the editor uploader's dialog box: "You may also want to try the default upload page."). From there, in "Summary", you fill in the parameters for {{aboutfile}} (replacing "Subject of the image" with what the image shows, etc.) and replace {{uncategorized}} with a category from Category:MarioWiki images (so for a Super Mario Maker image, you'd add in [[Category:Super Mario Maker Images]]
), and in "Licensing", simply select from the drop-down menu what the image is (game screenshot, sprite etc.) Mario JC 19:54, January 11, 2020 (EST)
