Template:Minigame-infobox Money Belt is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 6. The word "money belt" originally refers to a belt with a pouch for money or other small items. The minigame takes place at an airport.

Introduction

The introduction shows the characters running to their area, the camera zoomed in on the first box's X-ray.

Gameplay

The main point of the game is to get as many coins as possible. To get coins, players must open the boxes on the conveyor belt in front of them. There is a scanning machine to the left that shows which objects are in the boxes. The scanning machine scans three boxes ahead, so players can memorize what is in which box. There are empty boxes, boxes with one coin, boxes with bags that contain five coins, and boxes with hazardous items. Opening a box with a boxing glove stuns the player for one turn. Bob-ombs stun the player for two turns. The maximum number of coins available for the players to collect is always nineteen.

Ending

Players perform their victory animations as the conveyor belts continue to function.

Controls

  • A Button – Open a box

In-game text

  • Rules"Open boxes to find coins! Watch the boxes as they get x-rayed to see what's inside. Keep any coins you find!"
