::Since beta refers to a specific build, I feel this is misleading and could cause readers to think any early build of a game is a beta build, when [[MarioWiki:Good writing]] says that is not the case and that beta should not be used outside of actual confirmation of a build being the beta build. I also read the policy twice and could not find any mention of not using future tense, only that future tense should be changed to present tense after release, and I'd also like to note this policy hasn't been updated since that proposal passed. If we're thinking of the same thing, the part where it says "Statements like "[subject] may make an appearance in [future project]" are not allowed." only refers to not making speculatory statements about future games, not that future tense should not be used. --{{User:Waluigi Time/sig}} 20:19, June 8, 2019 (EDT)

Revision as of 20:19, June 8, 2019

The Revision section should be updated, since using future tense to refer to content in upcoming games isn't allowed anymore. Maybe something else should be added that explains it isn't allowed as well. Also, this page still uses the term "beta elements" and those parts should either be reworded or have the term replaced. --Waluigi's head icon in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Too Bad!
