Character Guideline Inclusion for New Articles Policy
Seeing as we've had a numerous amount of proposals concerning splitting or merging pages, not just now but over the lifelong course of the wiki, I think that it's time that we should make some small guidelines to what pages should and shouldn't exist regarding characters. This would go in the New Articles Policy. The following should enter the page, however without the examples I have put in, and likely better grammar and wording. The examples are there for your understanding.
Characters<br>
If the character is unintended to be distinguished as their real character, for a long period of time, than they deserve an article. (Shadow Mario, Mr. Pipe) If they are the same character simply in a disguise and revealed early in the game, then it is merged, (The Goodwill Ambassador) Unless it involves characterstic changes, such as a different personality. (Mr. L, Rookie) If a character appears as a separate form that isn't a mere power-up and displays a different personality, they deserve an article. (Metal Mario (character), Dr. Mario) If the character comes from a different point in time to the other character it's based off, it gets an article. (Baby Mario) Different versions of characters in RPG games (such as "X" or "R" versions) receive their own articles. (Shy Guy Airtub R)Also, be aware of page traffic. If people are going to look up something, a redirect will not help, and just because they have a spot in a roster doesn't particularly mean that they deserve an article.

Gold Links is a golf course in Mario Sports Superstars. As its name suggests, the course is a links-style course, like the Links course from Mario Golf on the Game Boy Color and Mario Golf: Advance Tour on the Game Boy Advance. The course features Fast Fairways, Heath, Bunkers and occasionally buildings. The course is used in the Flower Cup.

the Power Shots that appear in the Mario Tennis series Power Shots are special moves that appears in two games in the Mario Tennis series, being Mario Power Tennis and it's successor, Mario Tennis: Power Tour. There are two different types of Power Shots, Offensive Power Shots and Defensive Power Shots, both are which can be activated by filling the power gauge and either pressing a certain button or automatically, depending on the player's controls. Every character that can use Power Shots, with the exception of Clay and Ace, has one Offensive Power Shot and one Defensive Power Shot assigned to them. Most Offensive Power Shots have unique effects, such as slowing down opponents or knocking them back. Defensive Power Shots are used to reach far away balls that could not otherwise be reached. Defensive Power Shots do not have special effects, however they can stop the effects of Offensive Power Shots. Power Shots are later replaced by Chance Shots in Mario Tennis Open and Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash. ==Mario Power Tennis== There a total of 36 Power Shots in Mario Power Tennis, which consists of 18 Offensive Power Shots and 18 Defensive Power Shots. {| width=750px border=1 style="text-align:center; border-collapse:collapse;background:white; margin: 0 auto;" |- bgcolor=#dedede !Name !Image !Type !Character |- |Iron Hammer | |Offensive Power Shot |Mario |- |Squeaky Mallet | |Offensive Power Shot |Luigi |- |Super Peach Spin | |Offensive Power Shot |Princess Peach |- |Wonder Flower | |Offensive Power Shot |Princess Daisy |- |Thunder Cast Shot | |Offensive Power Shot |Wario |- |Whirluigi | |Offensive Power Shot |Waluigi |- |Fire Breath | |Offensive Power Shot |Bowser |- |Magic Paint | |Offensive Power Shot |Bowser Jr. |- |Barrel Cannon Blast | |Offensive Power Shot |Donkey Kong |- |Acrobatic Banana | |Offensive Power Shot |Diddy Kong |- |Rainbow Flutter | |Offensive Power Shot |Yoshi |- |Water Bomb | |Offensive Power Shot |Koopa Troopa |- |Boo Blast | |Offensive Power Shot |Boo |- |Lightning Spear | |Offensive Power Shot |Shy Guy |- |Tornado Twist | |Offensive Power Shot |Fly Guy |- |Energy Ball | |Offensive Power Shot |Koopa Paratroopa |- |Anger Management | |Offensive Power Shot |Wiggler |- |Sludge Racket | |Offensive Power Shot |Petey Piranha |- |Spin Jump Return | |Defensive Power Shot |Mario |- |Poltergust Return | |Defensive Power Shot |Luigi |- |Sweet Kiss Return | |Defensive Power Shot |Princess Peach |- |Flowerbed Return | |Defensive Power Shot |Princess Daisy |- |Ultra-Hand Return | |Defensive Power Shot |Wario |- |Swimming Return | |Defensive Power Shot |Waluigi |- |Spinning Shell Dash | |Defensive Power Shot |Bowser |- |Rolling Brush Return | |Defensive Power Shot |Bowser Jr. |- |Barrel Cannon Blast | |Defensive Power Shot |Donkey Kong |- |Acrobatic Banana | |Defensive Power Shot |Diddy Kong |- |Rainbow Flutter | |Defensive Power Shot |Yoshi |- |Water Bomb | |Defensive Power Shot |Koopa Troopa |- |Boo Blast | |Defensive Power Shot |Boo |- |Lightning Spear | |Defensive Power Shot |Shy Guy |- |Tornado Twist | |Defensive Power Shot |Fly Guy |- |Energy Ball | |Defensive Power Shot |Koopa Paratroopa |- |Anger Management | |Defensive Power Shot |Wiggler |- |Sludge Racket | |Defensive Power Shot |Petey Piranha |} ==Mario Tennis: Power Tour== There are 44 Power Shots in Mario Tennis: Power Tour.
