Template:Minigame-infobox Tearful Reunion is one of Mona's microgames in WarioWare: Smooth Moves. It returns in WarioWare Gold as one of Ashley and Red's microgames.
Gameplay
A person of randomly chosen gender is hanging on a zip wire and the player, controlling the other of the pair, has to help him or her by tilting the Wii Remote or Nintendo 3DS left or right. This makes their partner move towards the island so they can reunite. In later levels, there are whales spouting water (aliens shooting laser beams in WarioWare Gold). If the person gets caught in these, they are sent off and the game is lost.
- 1st level difficulty: The path is clear.
- 2nd level difficulty: There is one whale or alien.
- 3rd level difficulty: There are two whales or aliens. In WarioWare Gold, one alien does not move while the other does.
In WarioWare Gold, the characters are a princess and a prince (named Long-Lost Love and Distant Darling respectively in the Wario Kard mode), recurring characters in the game who also appear in Rocky Reunion, Long Lost Love, Love Tester and Hookin' Up.
Trivia
- The couple from this microgame is implied to be the same couple from the Rocky Reunion microgame in WarioWare: Twisted!, as the description from WarioWare: Smooth Moves mentions "two long years" (Twisted! was released two years prior), in addition to the characters being identical in both microgames.
