The Chain Chomp Capsule makes its only appearance in Mario Party 5, where it can be thrown to a space on the board, or used on the player for fifteen coins. When somebody lands on a space containing this capsule, a Chain Chomp appears. He steals coins from opponents for free and a Star for thirty coins. This is like Boo from past Mario Party games, but he works cheap and does not steal many coins either.
