Template:Infobox New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is a side-scrolling 2.5D platform game planned to release on the Nintendo Switch worldwide on January 11, 2019. It is a port of the Wii U launch title New Super Mario Bros. U. It contains both the base game and the New Super Luigi U DLC, which was originally released in 2013. The game introduces a new playable character, Toadette, who will make her playable debut in the New Super Mario Bros. subseries. She has a unique form known as Peachette after grabbing a Super Crown that grants her abilities similar to that of Princess Peach and Princess Daisy. Mario, Luigi, Yellow Toad and Nabbit all return as playable characters from the original Wii U title.[1] Blue Toad, who appears in the original game, has not been shown to make a reappearance. Additionally, it is now possible to play as Nabbit in the New Super Mario Bros. U levels and Mario in the New Super Luigi U levels.
