This article is about the infant variant of Donkey Kong in the TV cartoon. For his infant counterpart in Yoshi's Island DS, see Baby Donkey Kong.

Template:Character-infobox Baby Kong is a younger version of Donkey Kong exclusive to the Donkey Kong Country TV series. He is portrayed as a stereotypical infant that pouts a lot, and he also likes to say his older self's catchphrase. In Ape Foo Young, Donkey Kong accidentally drinks Cranky's leftover youth serum, and his body regresses to resemble that of an infant. When Candy arrives at the home and begins to believe she is being stood up, Diddy lies and says that DK is busy suddenly caring for his toddler nephew. Candy is unaware that "Baby Kong" (as the characters call him) is actually DK, and is taken a shine to him. Cranky is later puzzled at his appearance because he knows DK has no nephew; he almost realizes what DK has done after he starts recognizing the baby's features, but is distracted by the baby's annoyance. The potion's effect is temporary, however, and DK returns to normal by the end of the episode. However, in Baby Kong Blues, Baby Kong inexplicably reappears as a separate character under the care of Candy and Dixie. On a bet with them, he is lost while being baby-sat by DK and Diddy. After finding him, King K. Rool tries to raise him as his heir until Donkey Kong eventually manages to convince him otherwise.
