Merge into Sombrero Guy

Yep, I cancelled the other proposal. It seems that this is the only article on a paper enemy that has never appeared outside the Paper Mario series. Look at Tower Power Pokey. He has only ever appeared in Sticker Star and Paper Jam. We don't have an article on Paper Tower Power Pokey for this reason. Sombrero Guy has only appeared in Sticker Star, Paper Jam, and Color Splash. So why do we have this page? I propose we merge this page into Sombrero Guy. Who's with me?

- Alex95 (talk) - "Look at Tower Power Pokey. He has only ever appeared in Sticker Star and Paper Jam. We don't have an article on Paper Tower Power Pokey for this reason." Ah, thanks, I knew we missed one :P Anyway, coming off of one of my proposals, Paper Sombrero Guy was split due to consistency. I supposed there'd be no harm in merging it back, but then it'd be inconsistent with the other paper enemies that also have "paper" in the name.
- Chat Man (talk) I was gonna agree with this at first, but Alex95 intrigued me. After all Paper Tower Power Pokey has the royal sticker, but is still a separate character (I think). But I think this would mess up the Shiny Character Pages, which have never appeared outside of Sticker Star or Paper Jam. I'd rather split one page for a good reason, then merge several for a decent one.
Comments
@Alex95: I think we should merge back enemies that only have Paper forms in the first place. So if Tower Power Pokey has only a paper form, Paper Tower Power Pokey should be merged back to Power Tower Pokey and redirected there. I don't think there's much point into having two articles about pretty much same character. Ray Trace(T|C) 17:15, 17 November 2017 (EST)
- We actually don't have an article on Paper Tower Power Pokey, which is one of the main reasons why we should merge. But if this proposal fails, we're also splitting Paper Tower Power Pokey and Tower Power Pokey. I don't exactly like that idea, but it's better than the way it is now. -YFJ (talk · edits) 17:21, 17 November 2017 (EST)
- Like I said, there wouldn't be any harm in this passing, but the Paper Sombrero Guy (and its shiny counterpart) being on the main Sombrero Guy page would look inconsistent with everything else. I don't remember why Paper Tower Power Pokey wasn't split, either I forgot or a decision was made somewhere... 17:21, 17 November 2017 (EST)
