Available for Amazon/Amazon Underground?
Will this game be available for download on Amazon? And will there be an Actually Free Version available on Amazon Underground? I download MOST of my mobile games from Amazon, so if it becomes available for download on Amazon, can anyone let me know? --LTIan (talk) 21:57, 1 December 2016 (EST)
- The Android version has not been revealed yet, so we don't know anything about it being sold on Amazon.--Mister Wu (talk) 22:34, 1 December 2016 (EST)
All the other levels.
When you tap on a level in the Apple Store demo, you can tap the right arrow to scroll past the fourth level. This is how I found out about the other level names. Here they are:
WORLD 2: 2-1: Ghost-Door Deception 2-2: Sky-High Lifts and Leaps! 2-3: Treasure-Hoarding Swoops 2-4: Airship Cannons...Fire! WORLD 3: 3-1: Big Spiny Blitz 3-2: Bullet Bill Barrage 3-3: Shell Me the Way! 3-4: Fire Bar Castle! Youch! WORLD 4: 4-1: Cutting-Edge Spire 4-2: Slope to Success 4-3: Danger High and Low 4-4: Firing the Airship's Burners WORLD 5: 5-1: Lakitu's Revenge 5-2: Pokey Vaulting 5-3: Boohind Lock and Key 5-4: Rings of Fire! WORLD 6: 6-1: Land of Spikes 6-2: Switch Ghost House 6-3: Throwing It All Overboard 6-4: Bowser's Bob-ombing Run NOTE: For the Land of Spikes, it's actually the enemy, not the obstacle.
Could someone add this to the article? If I add it, it might be removed because someone might think it isn't sourced and could just get rid of it. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 19:36, 9 December 2016 (EST)
- Can't you source that page where you find the information? Also, add the extra steps in the reference. Ray Trace(T|C) 19:54, 9 December 2016 (EST)
- Originally I didn't have a source. Now, I do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQsp5xxahA0. I took pictures in the Apple Store with my mom's iPhone. Now, all the names can be seen through this link. In the Apple Store, just tap on a currently available level, then tap the arrows that appear on the left and right of the screen to browse through each individual level. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 20:12, 9 December 2016 (EST)
- To be more specific, before that video popped up on YouTube, I took some photos of the other levels with my Mom's iPhone, then I found the YouTube video and used that as a source. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 10:06, 10 December 2016 (EST)
- Never mind! A source has been added on the main article. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 22:43, 10 December 2016 (EST)

Bubble
In this video, Mario appears to be able to enter a bubble similar to New Super Mario Bros. Wii and New Super Mario Bros. U. This causes him to float backward a little ways before the bubble pops. However, I didn't see exactly how this is done. I think Mario automatically bubbles when he dies, but I'm not totally sure.
(--) 17:33, 15 December 2016 (EST)
- He indeed automatically bubbles when he dies. The player can choose how far back they float before they pop the bubble.
Special Courses
The three unlockable special courses aren't mentioned anywhere in the page. I believe they should be included in the worlds/levels section. I couldn't find any article on them; I've unlocked them myself, though. Screenshots of the pause screen with level names for each: http://imgur.com/a/smydX. Sorry if that's not a real source. --RoastedSeaBass 2:24, 17 December 2016 (EST)
- I haven't finished World Tour myself. I'm going to guess that three special courses you're talking about, are unlocked when the player has collected all the Pink, Purple and Black Challenge Coins respectively (pink coins -> Chase the Snaking Coins, purple -> Piranha Plant Field, and black -> Make the Cut). I think that what the pink/purple/black pipes are for. Infinite8 04:19, 17 December 2016 (EST)
Chain Chomp
Is the Chain Chomp in this game? 50.164.95.83 11:34, 18 December 2016 (EST)
- No. No it doesn't. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 01:34, 19 December 2016 (EST)
Kingdom Builder
Is anybody going to be covering stuff from the Kingdom Builder feature of Super Mario Run? I'd like to know what buildings/decorations/blocks are available for it.--LTIan (talk) 21:50, 19 December 2016 (EST)
- It's a relatively new game. It'll be a while before we can put together something like that. If you have anything, you can put something together. I can't run the game, so I'm of no help :P 22:19, 19 December 2016 (EST)
- Has anybody played through this game to discover things about the Kingdom Builder feature? --LTIan (talk) 12:12, 26 December 2016 (EST)
Production
Should we include the production of how Super Mario Run came to be? Such as including details of Nintendo's reluctance to include Mario games on mobile devices. Marino13 22:04, 19 December 2016 (EST)
- You're most certainly allowed to do that! A lot of other articles have development sections, see Super Mario 3D Land and Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam to see how they work. Ray Trace(T|C) 22:17, 19 December 2016 (EST)
Game modes summary
There's an error in the intro paragraph. "The game features four modes: premade courses, creating courses, playing other user-created courses, and a battle mode where players can race against another player's time called Toad Rally." There are three modes as described later in the article. And there isn't any course creation, so the second and third modes described in the first para are wrong. It looks like the entry is protected so I can't update it myself - apologies.

Update for Android
I just found out that on Google Play there is a notification feature that lets you know whenever Super Mario Run is available for download on Android/iOS. Could anyone add that information on there? --LTIan (talk) 18:34, 31 December 2016 (EST)
- You can.
- I apologize in advance for the added snark, but the time it took for you to type up that request, it will be already on the article. I'll be willing to fix formatting and stuff, but adding information you find should be your responsibility, not anyone else's. Ray Trace(T|C) 19:47, 31 December 2016 (EST)
Is this info reliable enough? --LTIan (talk) 02:36, 3 January 2017 (EST)
Wikipedia article
There is an article about an online requirement to play the game: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Always-on_DRM Can someone link the word "Always online" in this sentence: "The game is additionally always online." There is no edit for me to do it.Coinbro (talk) 20:26, 12 January 2017 (EST)
Kingdom Builder Information
I found some information regarding the Kingdom Builder items found in the shop: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=591rGWP6Ju8
Would this help out for an article for Kingdom Builder? --LTIan (talk) 02:06, 24 January 2017 (EST)
New characters in 2.0
It looks like the new characters are Yoshi recolors WoomyLuma I used Google Translate to translate the tweet, as seen here. March 23, delivery Ver.2.0.0 update information] appeared Yoshi of a different color to the new play characters! In addition to "Midori" so far, you can compose the four colors "Aka" "Ao" "Kitchen" "Murasaki"! It will be easier to collect the same color kinopio in the kinopio rally! While the translation is not entirely accurate, I do know "kinopio" means "toad", so this means the Yoshis, as well as having Yoshi's abilities, also make certain color Toads be more likely to appear (Example: Red Yoshi = Red Toads, Blue Yoshi = Blue Toads, etc.) No I am not a Japanese speaker, I simply know "toad" means "kinopio" from information on this wiki. Official
It is actually the first official Mario game on mobile. Because there are other Mario games on mobile but are unofficial. --90.113.167.250 03:16, 24 May 2017 (EDT)
- I guess by definition, if it isn't an official Mario game then it isn't using the actual Mario branding. MarioComix (talk) 21:03, 24 May 2017 (EDT)
Observations and waiting time for free players
observations
- You can quit the game when you are playing and the tickets will be returned to you. In fact the tickets are only taken away when you COMPLETE a game.
- At least 3 things can give you extra bonus medals at the end of a game: Total complete (I think it's called like that, condition: clear without a "oops") +2, got all medals +3, and catching up with a friend +1.
waiting time
Area | Waiting time |
---|---|
1-2 | 00:00 |
3-4 | 00:30 |
5-6 | 01:00 |
7-8 | 03:00 |
I'm up to Area 7. I hope it won't practically block free players from getting Daisy...
ps. for the table, it might fit somewhere in the wiki (eg if there is a separate page for remix 10), but only when it's completely filled...
