Template:Minigame-infobox Stretch Run (known as Stop or Drop in Europe and Australia) is a General minigame from Mario Party: Island Tour.

Introduction

Blue Toad and Yellow Toad pull back their carts, hop into them, and go very far. Blue Toad falls off the edge, but Yellow Toad doesn't.

Gameplay

Stretch Run

The players pull back or forward on their carts to adjust how long they want to be launched. After 5 seconds, they will jump into their carts and ride them to the bridge.

The players that stop on the numbers at the far end of the bridge are awarded points based on what number they land on. In Round 1, the point values are 1, 2, 4 and 6. Then in Round 2, the point values increase to 3, 6, and 9 respectively. If the player is far away from the points, or if they fall off the bridge, they don't get any points. The player who has the most points after two rounds wins.

Controls

  • Circle Pad up/down – Adjust the rubber band

In-game text

  • RulesNTSC "Stretch the rubber band to launch your cart as far as possible without going over the edge."
  • RulesPAL "Pull back the rubber band and propel your cart right to the edge - but not too far - for big points."
