The Coin Box is an item from Mario Party. This is the first item given when the game begins. Its purpose is to store coins and Stars that players acquire at the end of a board game (or Mini-Game Stadium). They are similar to Casino Boxes and Lucky Boxes.
In Mario Party 2, if the player max out the Coin Box's capacity at 99,999 coins, the player will receive a secret message from the developers upon checking it [1].
