Template:Kart-infobox The Zucchini (known as the Gherkin in Europe and Australia) is an unlockable kart part in Mario Kart 7. The Zucchini may have been inspired by the Cucumber from Mario Kart DS. It resembles a mid sixties Formula One racecar, particularly those made by Lotus.
The Zucchini offers a speed boost, while hindering acceleration and handling. It is tied with the B Dasher, Blue Seven, and Bruiser for having the highest speed of all kart bodies. In terms of its hidden stats, however, the Zucchini hardly has any pros outside of its speed stat, and as a result, it has the lowest stat total of all the kart bodies in the game.
