The Challenge Space (or an Exclamation Mark Space) is a type of space that is found at least once or twice on every game board in Mario Party 8. But it is only seen on Star Battle Arena in every board.
Landing on this space will challenge the player to one of three minigames: Stampede, Fruit Picker, or Pour to Score. If the player loses the minigame, they lose the entire coins bet and will not be able to throw a dart. If the player wins the minigame, they get to throw a dart at the dart wheel to earn five, ten, or twenty Coins, depending on where the dart lands.
