Orange Yoshi

An Orange Yoshi.

Orange Yoshis are a type of Yoshi. The first appearance of an Orange Yoshi was in Super Mario Sunshine. If Yoshi ate a Pineapple or a Papaya, he would turn orange.

An Orange Yoshi later reappaeared in Yoshi's Island DS, and was only playable on the sixth level of each world. Many people mistake this Orange Yoshi with the Brown Yoshi, who was playable on the sixth level of each world in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. However, Orange Yoshi and Brown Yoshi are two different Yoshi colors.

Appearance

In Super Mario Sunshine, Orange Yoshi debuted with orange skin and shoes with a red saddle. In future appearances, Orange Yoshi wore blue shoes.
