The King of Sockhop Land, Elvin Parsley is known as the King of rock and roll (in the Marioverse, of course). He ruled Sockhop Land, and was quite popular. Kool Koopa froze him in a freezer and took over, but he was freed thanks to Mario, his friends and Elvin's magical talking shoes.
