:Assuming that you're talking about the PM port in 2007, taking the Virtual Console into consideration just needlessly muddles the whole situation, considering it's nothing more than a port with ''very'' minor changes if any at all (as compared to, say, [[Super Mario Advance]], which was basically an entire revamp of SMB2). Paper Mario was released in 2001, its sequel was released in 2004, and that's about as far as the consideration really should go. {{User:Time Turner/sig}} |

Diddy kong how about this way
Hey I meet alot of vandals and I fight with them, I don't want you to be my next one who I need to fight with, why not this lets make a vote to see wether DK is either Diddys nephew or not and The most votes it gets, The most remains, but for now I undid it It is unknown. I will make an election but please don't start I don't want you to be my next enemy. 123johnpaul (talk) 20:26, 20 December 2014 (EST)123johnpaul
- 1) It's quite evident in the citations I've provided, especially since I've done my best to show a comprehensive timeline of the instances Diddy was ever remotely referred to as his nephew. 2) no Donkey Kong Kong Returns material refers to Diddy as his "nephew wannabe", 3) even if it did, it doesn't mean they're related - it's literally saying he wants to be like a nephew to DK. 4) You keep adding unwarranted speculation under trivia over an observable fact. 5) Even if you ask for a vote - and you shouldn't be reverting things because you don't like it and then taking it to the talk page - it doesn't really change anything since there are too many contradictions even in official sources to take it seriously. - For quick reference, I've found a manual of DKCR here (I assume this is what Johnpaul was referring to, because I've certainly never heard of a "characters booklet" before), and as far as I can tell, the only mention of the relation between the two of them is "Donkey Kong and his little pal Diddy Kong," which certainly does not reveal much. G(l)oomba
I'm dealing with Spiky Glooba, not Spiked Goomba. Since the Spiked Gloomba doesn't appear to have made an appearance in SPM, it defaults to the TTYD name. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
- Assuming that you're talking about the PM port in 2007, taking the Virtual Console into consideration just needlessly muddles the whole situation, considering it's nothing more than a port with very minor changes if any at all (as compared to, say, Super Mario Advance, which was basically an entire revamp of SMB2). Paper Mario was released in 2001, its sequel was released in 2004, and that's about as far as the consideration really should go. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
