Template:Levelbox World 8-7 is the secret level in World 8 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. This level is the only level in the game to feature the Spine Coasters. This level also has the lava geysers, being found in the most lava parts of the level.

Layout

At the beginning of the level, Mario must jump on a Spine Coaster, which will later lead to another Spine Coaster. The Spine coaster will lead Mario to a Warp Pipe, which leads to the checkpoint and to another Spine Coaster. After three more Spine Coasters, the Flagpole awaits at the end. The Spine Coasters often make risky maneuvers, passing through lava geysers and the lava itself.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: The first Star Coin is located on the second Spine Coaster, where it is barely above the lava, which the player must grab as the Spine Coaster comes out of the lava.
  • Star Coin 2: The second one is found above two lava geysers by the third Spine Coaster. The player must jump off the Spine coaster to avoid the lava geysers and to reach this Star Coin.
  • Star Coin 3: The last one is found between the fourth and fifth Spine Coaster. Mario and co. must stay on the fourth Spine coaster, grab the coin and jump to the fifth Bonecoaster before they touch the geyser.
