Template:Minigame-infobox Gun the Runner is a 1-vs.-3 minigame in Mario Party 8.
Introduction
The Bullet Blitzer flies in front of a construction site and opens up to reveal a trio. The trio raises their guns as the camera turns to look at the solo player at the bottom of the site.
Gameplay
In this game, one player needs to jump up platforms to get to the top of a large tower, while the other three attempt to stop him by shooting him or her. When the Runner is hit by one of them, he or she will be unable to move for three seconds, however it takes one second to reload a ball. Elevator platforms go up or down and may help the runner. If the runner makes it to the top in 30 seconds, they will win the Minigame. If the runner is unable to make it, the team will win the minigame.
Ending
If the solo player wins, the player does a winning pose as the Bullet Blitzer closes up and flies off with the disappointed trio. If the trio wins, they will do a winning pose on the Bullet Blitzer as the solo player slumps in disappointment on the building.
