Template:Racecourse Koopa City (known as Neo Bowser City in North America) is the third course of the Star Cup in Mario Kart 7. It is a neon lit city themed course owned by Bowser. Neon signs are everywhere and Bowser's signature emblem can be seen in various places.
Description
The course takes place in a brightly lit, rainy city. Most of the course is winding roads with moving neon arrow railings. There is a small upward spiral that goes up a tower. There is a tunnel close to the end of the course that leads to a road that is covered with puddles. At the end, there is a ramp that uses the glider. This course's theme is a remixed version of Toad Circuit/Mario Circuit and the title theme of Mario Kart 7. It also contains parts of Mario Kart 64's Toad's Turnpike and Mario Kart Wii's Mario Circuit.[1]
Trivia
- This is the second course that is placed in the rain, the first was Luigi Circuit from Mario Kart: Super Circuit.
- This is the first course to be owned by Bowser which is not a castle. It's the second if Airship Fortress is counted.
- The billboard that appears near the starting line displays an image of Bowser. That artwork was first used in New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
