Battle Course 1 was the very first battle course to be introduced in the entire Mario Kart series. It originated from Super Mario Kart. It seems to take place somewhere within the borders of Donut Plains. It is a square-shaped course with some multi colored walls. Unlike later Mario Kart battles, there is no coin battle mode on this game. Actually, there is no modes at all. The aim is to hit your opponent three times with items to get rid of the three rotating things around each player.
