Flat Zone 2

Flat Zone 2 is an unlockable stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, acting as the second Game & Watch stage in the Super Smash Bros. series, the first being Flat Zone from Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Design

As with Flat Zone, the stage is set inside a Widescreen-series model with Super Smash Bros. written at the top. Also like Flat Zone, the characters are flat.

Unlike the original Flat Zone, Flat Zone 2 normally shifts to different Game & Watch game scenarios, rather than staying in one area the entire battle. Some of the scenarios known are Fire (1981 version), Oil Panic's bottom screen (1982), Lion (1981), and Chef.

The stage is always set in Fixed Camera mode regardless of Special Brawl settings, as opposed to the original Flat Zone which frequently has its camera zoom in on players.

Flat Zone 2 is the only sequel stage that doesn't have its prequel appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
