This is the first level in World 5. It introduces the Stalking Piranha Plant and the River Piranha Plant. It contains very large Koopa Shells, some of which, Mario can enter and find secrets. While most of this level takes place on land, a portion of it it over a body of water. There are many swinging vines the player can use to travel over gaps and Stalking Piranha Plants. Fire Mario is very helpful in this level.

World 5 (also known as the Jungle World)[1] is a world in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It is the fifth world and a woodsy area with poison, which is present in some of the levels. Bramble vines block some of the paths, and will usually change positions after Mario clears or fails a level. There are eight levels in this world, including a tower and castle that are guarded by Iggy Koopa, and a Ghost House. It also has a total of nine exits. There is also a Warp Cannon that sends the player to World 8. The enemies introduced in World 5 include Stalking Piranha Plants, River Piranha Plants, Wigglers, Big Wigglers, Bramballs, Circling Boo Buddies, Mini Goombas, and Swoops. There is also one of each type of Toad House: red, green, and yellow. On the map, there are three Stalking Piranha Plants that act as the world's Enemy Course; this is the most that occur in any of the game's worlds. Once Iggy is defeated in the castle, the bramble patches disappear completely.

The background music of World 5 was remixed for Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition's location of the same name.
