Disambig[edit]
Shouldn't this be a disambiguation page instead? (T|C) 06:32, 6 December 2017 (EST)
- The Cargo Truck has made more appearances than the Dash Panel Ramp Truck, which has only appeared in MK8/Deluxe, and most players would no doubt identify it as simply a "truck", so it should stay as a redirect. Mario JC 07:02, 6 December 2017 (EST)

- Pickup trucks are trucks but not cargo trucks, and "truck" can also be used to describe Minecarts. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 08:59, 7 December 2017 (EST)

Split into cargo truck and pickup truck 6-1
So my proposal to merge the various generic "traffic" vehicles failed due to them having different sizes and properties. The problem is this page covers two very distinct subjects (both in-game and real life) whose only links are being traffic vehicles and having the same generic name in English parlance. Both "cargo truck" (the big tractor-trailer ones) and "pickup truck" (the small bedded ones) have been used in official capacities for the Mario versions, so if that's reason to split those others, these should too for consistency.
