Mushroom Kingdom is the first Adventure Mode stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee. The course starts on top of a pipe in a flat, grassy area, with a sign pointing right towards Princess Peach's Castle and green Mushroom Platforms in the background across the lake. To the left is a sheer rock wall, while to the right are two pieces of stonework to be jumped over. After this, there is a row of Brick Blocks in the air, while enemies start appearing. The path starts going up a hill, with two more pieces of stonework and a large array of brick blocks, before reaching a small cliff with another pipe at the top of it. After this is a section with a dock, floating platforms, and enemies over the lake, where the player may fall in and sink if they fail a jump; a golf course can be seen across the lake from here.
