Purple Punchers, also known as Pink Mapu[1] or bashers,[1] are the second species of normal ghosts Luigi encounters in Luigi's Mansion and its remake, where they are encountered in the Storage Room, Armory, Anteroom, the Laundry Room, Cellar, the Sealed Room, and The Artist's Studio, and in the Kitchen, Nursery, Conservatory, Balcony (3F), the Fortune-teller's Room, Nana's Room, and the Telephone Room during the blackout. They’re also encountered in the Parlor, the Kitchen, the Safari Room, the Pipe Room, the Roof, the Anteroom, the Laundry Room, Cellar, the Sealed Room, and The Artist's Studio in the PAL and 3DS Hidden Mansion, and in the Nursery, Conservatory, Balcony (3F), the Fortune-teller's Room, Nana's Room, and the Telephone Room during the blackout in the PAL and 3DS Hidden Mansion. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, a Purple Puncher, along with a Gold Ghost and a Blue Twirler, appear together on a trophy of Ghosts from Luigi's Mansion.
