World 1-2 is the third of eight available stages in "VS Game" and "You VS. Boo" in Super Mario Bros. Deluxe.

Layout[edit]

The level starts by getting across a Mushroom Platform and then onto a bridge. While the bridges bear faint similarity to those of World 2-3 in Super Mario Bros., they have upper and lower floors. The upper floor consists of various 3-2-1 Blocks and Dotted-Line Blocks, while falling down to the lower floor allows the players to run across Cloud Blocks, some of which have one-wide gaps between them, and can jump into the 3-2-1 Blocks from below to attempt to get back up to the upper floor.

Three bridges are crossed in this manner, with Piranha Plants showing up from pipes immediately after the second and third bridges. As there are no power-up blocks in the level, the Piranha Plants can cause more problems than usual for VS Game levels.
