It is an entirely owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard after being acquired by Vivendi Games in 2005. The company is known for its work on the Crash Bandicoot and PROTOTYPE series, as well as developing The Simpsons: Hit & Run.

In the Super Mario franchise, the company is responsible for making the Nintendo Entertainment System versions of the Mario Discovery games Mario is Missing! and Mario's Time Machine.
