ON/OFF Koopa Troopas is the seventy-first course in the Story Mode of Super Mario Maker 2. It is set in the ground theme and in the Super Mario Bros. style. It is posted by Fired-Up Announcer, and has a difficulty rating of 2/4 stars.

Layout[edit]

This level is split into several rooms.

In the first room, Mario must hit an ON/OFF Switch at least four times to guide a Koopa Troopa moving past walls of ON/OFF blocks to a Note Block.

In the second room, Mario must hit an ON/OFF Switch at least three times to guide a Koopa Troopa descending down an ON/OFF block staircase to a Note Block at the bottom of said staircase.

In the third room, Mario must hit an ON/OFF Switch at least five times to guide a Koopa Troopa to a Trampoline on a lower level and, in turn, to a Note Block on an upper level.

In the fourth room, Mario must hit an ON/OFF Switch at least five times to guide a Koopa Troopa traversing a Conveyor Belt path to a Note Block at the end of the final Conveyor Belt.

In the fifth room, Mario must hit an ON/OFF Switch at least four times to guide a Big Koopa Troopa moving across ON/OFF block paths to some Hard Blocks over to the right of Mario. After successfully using said ON/OFF Switch the second time, Mario must hit some Brick Blocks underneath the Big Koopa Troopa to force it into a row of red ON/OFF blocks, then hit the ON/OFF Switch a third time just as the Big Koopa Troopa is in the process of flipping itself over. This room then leads directly to the Goal Pole.

Description[edit]

"Time for some mental aerobics! Toggle the ON/OFF Switch and carry the Koopa Troopa! Can you make it to the goal?!"
