Upside-Down Stretches is the thirty-sixth course in the Story Mode of Super Mario Maker 2. It is set in the underground theme and in the Super Mario World style. It is posted by Stargazer, and has a difficulty rating of 2/4 stars.
Layout[edit]
The level begins with a single Warp Pipe, which Mario must use to enter an upside-down version of the level and hit an ON/OFF Switch and proceed in the rightside-up version. Mario must then hit another ON/OFF Switch later on to enter another Warp Pipe and make it past a group of Skewers. After briefly entering another Warp Pipe immediately after to hit an ON/OFF Switch guarded by a Stretch to proceed, Mario must enter yet another Warp Pipe to make it to the Checkpoint Flag and cross an onslaught of Stretches. Mario must then enter the next Warp Pipe to cross another pit full of Stretches, then alternate between two Warp Pipes behind groups of Rotating Blocks to proceed. After entering an additional Warp Pipe just below a 10-Coin, Mario must then enter a Warp Door, followed by entering another Warp Pipe and hitting some Hidden Blocks to ride a lift on a track, then entering one last Warp Pipe leading to the Giant Gate.
Description[edit]
"The gravity on this planet is all over the place, and it's inhabited by spectral Stretches! Use the ON/OFF Switches and your wits to reach the goal and claim your reward."
