This is something that stuck out to me while I was browsing the wiki one day: for whatever reason, the robot that Colonel Pluck uses in his boss battle, the Stompybot 3000, is in a separate article, even though they are never seen apart from each other. Unlike something like Mr. L with his Brobot, or Bowser Jr. with his Junior Clown Car (or, considering that the JCC did appear separately in Super Mario Maker, his Megahammer), who actually have presences apart from their vehicles, the Stompybot may as well be a part of Colonel Pluck's character... nay, his primary, defining characteristic. If the robot didn't have a name, it might not have even been split. | This is something that stuck out to me while I was browsing the wiki one day: for whatever reason, the robot that Colonel Pluck uses in his boss battle, the Stompybot 3000, is in a separate article, even though they are never seen apart from each other. Before it's too late, I'll throw out that somehow the page neglects to mention the obvious joke that it's a "chicken walker"-type mech. Who removed my statement that Pluck is made of rubber? I supplied evidence!

That was just a cartoony sound effect, it's not meant to imply anything. Lots of games/shows use cartoony sound effects to avoid sections of pure silence. ~Chaoxys

merge Stompybot 3000 with Colonel Pluck 8-0-0
Additionally, the content of the articles has almost total overlap: both articles claim their subjects to be the boss of the Factory area, and then proceed to describe the same boss battle. The only meaningful difference between the articles (aside from the physical descriptions of the entities themselves) is that Colonel Cluck has a trophy in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, which even then features the Stompybot. Stompybot has little standing on its own outside of its unique name, so I suggest that we merge it to prevent needless repetition.

Merge Stompybot 3000 into Colonel Pluck[edit]
- DrippingYellow (talk) Per meself.
- LinkTheLefty (talk) Time for the ol' pluck'n stomp.
- Jdtendo (talk) Per proposal.
- Hewer (talk) Not every named thing needs an article if it's this redundant, and Madame Broode shares a page with her Chain Chomp, so there's precedent. Per all.
- Mario (talk) Pretty sure we have merged some named minigame specific items from Mario Party.
- EvieMaybe (talk) pluck it! per proposal
- MegaBowser64 (talk) This is a plucking awesome idea!
- Nintendo101 (talk) Per all.
