Anyone else feel like the internal name "todo" just means "to do" and they never changed it? Mrbeast6000 (talk) 17:40, December 3, 2023 (EST)

Pretty sure that's just something Annalisa10 left as a placeholder while adding the internal name section, not an actual internal name. Blinker (talk) 18:25, December 3, 2023 (EST)
Correct. I filled in the internal name to minimize further confusion. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 20:01, December 5, 2023 (EST)
It was me that set it as "todo", as I couldn't check the internal name myself and I wanted someone else to do it, why did people think it was an actual internal name - SMM-SMB-DonutBlock.png Donut | just helpin' when I can! 20:09, December 9, 2023 (EST)

Rename back to Slidon[edit]

As with Morocon, the internal name "Slidon" is a perfectly valid transcription of「スライドン」(Suraidon) and is the only official romanization of the name that we have, so I think we should rename this page back to "Slidon". Jdtendo(T|C) 04:05, January 24, 2024 (EST)

I agree (also because Slidon just sounds cooler) ~ MawioMawiolol Ninji | ( talk ) 06:17, January 25, 2024 (EST)

There was this proposal I created that passed, but I didn't consider instances where the internal name is the same as the Japanese name. I guess the move to Suraidon follows the proposal? (With the way I worded it, I mean.) I wouldn't be opposed to a follow-up proposal where Japanese-name priority is only applicable to enemies that don't have a romanization of their final Japanese name as their internal name, though... Whether internal names can in some cases be considered as official romanizations remains an open question, but now that we have an official English name for this enemy, we certainly won't rename this page back to Slidon. Jdtendo(T|C) 03:01, January 26, 2024 (EST)
