Counting World is a location in Mario's Early Years! Preschool Fun. It is one of the islands in the game and is represented by the numbers 1-4 on a blackboard.

Like with the other Counting World, there is no traditional learning activity involved and as such, the room is more suited to discovery. Princess Toadstool stands within her classroom as the player counts various items. As the items are counted, the children use their fingers to keep track of the current number for the player. The selectable items are:

  • One paint box
  • Two drawings (A Sunflower and a Whale.)
  • Three Teddy Bears
  • Four potted plants
  • Five paintbrushes
  • Six toy cars
  • Seven books
  • Eight pieces of chalk
  • Nine alphabet blocks (Spelling PIBEZ DJLT)
  • Ten fingers on the children
