Follow the Money is a 4-Player minigame appearing in Super Mario Party. The phrase "follow the money" refers to when public figures engage in illegal money exchange.
Gameplay[edit]
Players must collect coins that appear around the course, while avoiding falling off or being hit by enemies. Each time a player falls off or gets hit, they lose three coins. Enemies such as Grrrols and their big variants, Whomps, Thwomps and their big variants, Bill Blasters and Bullet Bills, and Walleyes are scattered across the stage with randomized placements.
On Challenge Road, this is the seventh challenge of Ghostly Hollow and the 41st challenge overall. For the normal challenge, the player must get at least 20 coins without falling or getting hit, and for the Master Challenge, the player must get at least 30 coins under the same conditions.
Ending[edit]
At the end of the course, all the players who have collected at least one coin do their victory animations. Any players that end up with zero coins perform their losing animations instead.
