Candy Shakedown is a 4-Player minigame in Super Mario Party.

Overview[edit]

The minigame opens with the players seated around a table, each holding and examining a candy jar before a brief sequence of the first player shaking their jar is given.

Players must first open their jars by pressing the right button on their Joy-Con before shaking the controller to empty the candy from their jar. The first player to empty their jar wins.

At the end of the minigame, the winner will strike their pose in front of the table while the losing players remain seated while talking to each other.

On Challenge Road, the player has 20 seconds to shake all the candy out of the jar. During the Master Challenge, the player has 15 seconds.

Controls[edit]

  • Joy-Con (L) / Joy-Con (R) (vertical) – Shake the bottle[sic]

In-game text[edit]

  • Shake out all the candy!
  • Treat Joy-Con (L) like a jar, and shake it until all the candy falls out!
