The Bank of the Wild River is the fourth level on the northern side of the music box world in Wario Land 3. After the music box in A Town in Chaos' Red Chest is collected, then the music from the music box is played, causing this level to be unlocked alongside The Tidal Coast.
The level takes place on a flowing river which spans two areas. The first area, which is at the beginning, contains many rocky structures where caves are hidden inside them. The next area past the current contains vines on the tree. To the left, there is a crystal cave. The boss in this level is Pesce.

Items[edit]
Treasures[edit]
Gray Chest: Trident[edit]
The Trident[1] is hidden inside the Gray Chest. It is available as soon as the level is unlocked.
The Gray Key is all the way to the right, where Wario must jump over and drop from four rocky hills on his way. On the way, there are Spear-bots and Fire Robota. The Gray Key is atop the thin platforms.
To get to the Gray Chest, which is near where Wario started, Wario must go in the river to ride the current while avoiding the Haridama, as contact with them trigger Puffy Wario to cause Wario to float out of the water. After making his way the end, Wario can collect the Gray Chest by jumping out of the water.
After collecting both the Trident from this chest and the Yellow Book from The Tidal Coast's Gray Chest, a lightning storm is summoned at the southern side of the world, where the ensuing lightning and rain causes a fissure and unlocking The Steep Canyon.
Red Chest: Magnifying Glass[edit]
The Magnifying Glass,[2][3] also called the magnifier,[4] is in the Red Chest. It requires the Super Smash from Tower of Revival's Red Chest to access, which is needed to reveal secret doors in this level.
From the beginning, the cave that the Red Key is located in is all the way to the right, where Wario must go left and use the powered-up Dash Attack to break the rocks from the right to reveal. The Red Key is just to the right within the cave.
To get to the Red Chest, Wario must go underwater and then swim along the current to the left, and then jump out of the water at the third Haridama, where he must used the Dash Attack on the rocks to the left to reveal another cave. The Red Chest is just to the right within the cave.
The Magnifying Glass enables the player to check the collected treasures within a level as well as check if they have previously collected all Musical Coins in one go without entering it. On the overworld map, holding brings up the menu in addition to showing where Wario can travel on the map.
Green Chest: Statue[edit]
The Statue[5] is in the Green Chest. It requires the Prince Frog's Glove from Out of the Woods' Green Chest to acquire. This allows Wario to swim past the current to reach a new area.
The area to the treasure is all the way right past the current, where there is another area to the right. In this new area, Wario must climb the vines to the right while avoiding or eliminating the Kushimushi and avoiding the spikes. The Green Key is close to the door on a high platform.
Within the door, there is a room where the Green Chest is down the ladder. However, the current flows too fast that Wario cannot reach the chest from there. In order to stop the flow, Wario must go through the door to the right above water, which leads to a room that contains the boss, Pesce.
In the arena, Pesce is underwater, while a dragonfly is above water and can be ridden on. If Wario goes underwater, Pesce will pursue Wario and put him in its mouth if it faces Wario, after which it will go to the current and spit Wario out, ejecting him out of battle. Occasionally, a fly carrying cheese will fly down from the right to the left. If Wario bumps into the fly, it will drop the cheese. If Pesce sees the cheese, it will eat it, which causes it to become fatter. After two more blocks of cheese are fed to Pesce, it will become heavy and sink to the surface, after which it blocks the current from flowing. The dragonfly will fly from above, which Wario can ride on to go back to the previous room. In the room, the current stopped flowing and the Green Chest can be accessed.
The Statue weaves the grillage in both The Tidal Coast and Tower of Revival, allowing Wario to climb further up the grillage in those levels.
Blue Chest: Rocket[edit]
The Rocket is in the Blue Chest. It requires the Air-Pump from The Colossal Hole's Red Chest to acquire, which causes the glass container in the water to float on the surface.
The cave in which the treasure is located is to the left, which is accessible after the glass container is on the surface, which Wario can use as a platform to reach it. Within the cave, there is a Prince Froggy to the left, which requires Vampire Wario triggered by the Kobatto to the right. Vampire Wario must transform into a bat to go around the waterfalls since he cannot move past them as a vampire. Water drops turn Wario back to normal. The Blue Key is up in the ceiling slightly right of the leftmost Prince Froggy.
From the Blue Key, Wario must eliminating the Prince Froggy blocking the way to the left as Vampire Wario, and then touch a water drop to revert back to normal. After that, he must climb up the ladders and then go to the left while avoiding the Kobatto. In this area, Wario must go all the way down while smashing the blocks and avoiding the Flames to retrieve a rock, and then carry it all the way up to break the Enemy Blocks, in order to touch the Flame to trigger Hot Wario. As Hot Wario, he must make his way back to the area to the right and wait until he is completely in fire while avoiding the water drop (which returns Wario back to normal). As a living fire, Wario must move left to break the Bonfire Blocks to the left, and then collect the Blue Chest after returning back to normal.
The Rocket does not affect the world in any way.

Trivia[edit]
- On the official American website, the description for the Blue Key mentions a red froggy, as well as avoiding Robo-Mouse in a pipe-filled location, with the reward being the ability to switch between night and day.[6] This is actually describing the Blue Key for The Peaceful Village.[7]
