ChaosNinji Chris: With an IRC client, go to server irc.darkmyst.org. The channel's #mariowiki, and yes, sysops are gifted with chat op powers at the start, though they can lose them due to abuse (I'm one of those, as you know). If you start coming on whenever you're online, you're have to register a nickname into the Darkmyst server database, then Steve can add you to the auto-op list for #mariowiki. What I was looking to do was to just modify the infobox on a new page so that the stuff in the lefthandside, like "full name" and "association" could be changed to more relavent topics, but when I got down to trying to do that it looked a little to complex for me to handle as the only template experience I have is making the ones like the one on this page. It doesn't use any variables, and it looks like yours does, since it's a Wiki-wide thing rather than an individual box. I already tried doing the same thing I did on that page above on this Wiki and it didn't work. :( (are we missing the class used to do that, maybe?) Any of these you want to change, feel free, but here's what I would put: For the categories, how about Greater Location (Mushroom Kingdom would have Mushroom World and Shy Guy's Toybox would have Toad Town.), Capital (Toad Town for Mushroom Kingdom, left blank for World 1-1 (SMB)), Current Ruler (Princess Peach for Mushroom Kingdom, Village Leader for Yoshi's Village), Main Race(s) (Toads for the Mushroom Kingdom, Beanish for Beanbean Kingdom), First Appearance and Latest Appearance. As for the color, I'm not very savy with that, so maybe it would be better for you to decide? If you want my opinion I would make it a light blue or light red, in the same sort of hue as the light green used on the character template. ...something like 69F or F66 on the Help:Color codes page... but again, you're making it, so you decide. Would it be ok if I created separate articles for characters from the movie that are also in the video games? What I'm saying is, wouldn't it not make any sense at all if Mario, in Paper Mario 3, asked Luigi how Bowser ever evolved himself back from slime? It wouldn't make sense because King Koopa became slime on a separate continuity. So, what I'm asking is, since those four character have different continuities in the movies, can I make special articles about them? I'm not saying we should delete the information from the articles (as the articles should cover all aspects of the character), but just that it might be silly of me to go on section after section about the gruff, rough Mario who raised an orphan to be his "brother" Luigi, and then we say that Mario and Luigi are twins elsewhere. You know? Anyway, I could do a proposal for this, but I know that as soon as I do people are going to say, "We'll just argue for merging later anyway!" and, that's fine, it's democracy, but I just don't think that people should be able to over-ride facts (obviously... ;P), so I want to know if you think that movie-Mario and game-Mario are not the same person. The whole "different characters; different articles" arguement only really applies to different major characters in the same continuity. This hasn't been an issue yet, so I'll just keep it normal.
