World A-3 is the third level of World A in Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels and the seventh secret level overall in said game, taking place in the sky. The level uses the same cloud platforms seen in the end section of World 8-2 and the entirety of World 8-3. In the All Night Nippon: Super Mario Bros. version, the cloud platforms are replaced with Mushroom Platforms.

Layout[edit]

This level has several long cloud platforms, a few scattered smaller platforms, coins on several of the platforms, and Koopa Paratroopas positioned between some of them. In the first half of the level, wind will be blowing from the left, and Cheep Cheeps will jump up from below throughout the level. Above the second small platform, after the Blooper, is a Hidden Block with a power-up. Just before the flagpole is a Spring that can help the player over the flagpole and reach a Warp Zone leading to World C.
