Meowser Showdown! is the final course in Super Mario Maker 2's Story Mode. It is unlocked when the Chief gets kidnapped. The course is set in a castle theme, and has a difficulty rating of 3/4 stars. Once the course is cleared, the Chief will return and the castle will be complete, and the player will also unlock the Super Hammer.
Layout[edit]
To start, there is a ! Block Mario must Ground Pound to reach two ? Blocks, one of which contains a Super Mushroom. There are a few more ! Blocks along the way which stretch out over small pits of lava with Fire Bros between them. At the end of this section is a Heavy Fire Bro and a Banzai Bill cannon in the background. There are then two more ? Blocks and a ! Block above a lava pit containing a Charvaargh. After a Bully is another ! Block above a long pit of lava. Here, there are two Banzai Bill cannons in the background. The next area has a few ! Blocks Mario must Ground Pound to build up. He must then head right to a face-off with Meowser. The red pipe takes Mario to the final area. There is a simply a blue Track Block Mario must ride up to the Goal Pole, where he will find Toadette imprisoned in a cage on the other side. Lowering the flag also opens the cage, dropping Toadette and leaving them both to celebrate.
