When [[Princess Peach]] enters the boss room, she sees an imprisoned [[Mushroom Retainer]] (or a stash of [[Coin]]s if she completed the level beforehand). Blizzaurus catches the princess off guard with her ice breath and then charges, breaking her free and beginning the fight proper.

== Battle ==
During battle, Blizzaurus mainly attacks with her massive body by charging directly at [[Princess Peach|Peach]]. She can also create glaciers from the ground. She has an ice beam that freezes anything touching it. Princess Peach can deal damage onto Blizzaurus' ice shield by using her [[Rage]] [[vibe]]. Successfully breaking Blizzaurus' ice shield causes her to lose a life; when this happens, Blizzaurus rears back in pain as she gains crosses for eyes.


After reaching the frozen [[Toad (species)|Toad]], Blizzaurus pops out of nowhere and knocks him away. As soon as the battle begins, Blizzaurus will charge at [[Peach]].  Jump over her and as she gets into the corner, jump onto her force field. She’ll create glaciers in the ground and also shoot beams of freezing ice at Peach. If Peach gets hit by the beam, she will turn into ice and immediately press various buttons in hopes of shattering the ice.  If she doesn't, Blizzaurus will smash into the player. Once the coast is clear (or Blizzaurus charges up her attack), stand right next to her and use [[Rage]] to destroy her barrier and take away an HP.
After Blizzaurus loses three lives, she transforms into her true form: a fairy. In this state, she flies around, constructing icicles and blasting them at Princess Peach while the former's ice shield force protects her. She can also swing her wand to send a few balls of cryogenic energy at the princess. Due to her size and flying in the air, Peach has to jump while using the Rage vibe or stand on the fallen icicles to damage Blizzaurus.

Blizzaurus is a boss in the game Super Princess Peach. Her name is a portmanteau of "blizzard" and the suffix "-saurus". She is battled at the end of World 6, Gleam Glacier. She appears as a giant cyan dragon-type boss with a blue mane, but she is revealed to be a sprite. In sprite form, Blizzaurus has light blue skin and wears a sleeveless dress and a golden headband with pink orbs on it. She carries a golden sceptre that lets her perform magic attacks.

When Princess Peach enters the boss room, she sees an imprisoned Mushroom Retainer (or a stash of Coins if she completed the level beforehand). Blizzaurus catches the princess off guard with her ice breath and then charges, breaking her free and beginning the fight proper.
