Snack Attack is a 4-Player minigame appearing in Super Mario Party. Its name is a play on a term used to denote a person who has a sudden urge to eat specific foods.
Introduction[edit]
One of the corncob-shaped volcanoes in the background erupts, launching lots of popcorn kernels and volcanic debris into the air. The minigame then begins.
Gameplay[edit]
The minigame is set in a circular area. Players must catch the popcorn that falls into the area. Each popcorn kernel collected yields one point. If volcanic debris falls onto a player, they spill half their popcorn and get stunned for one second. Both popcorn and volcanic debris have a shadow appear on the ground to signify that they are going to fall at that spot. After 30 seconds have passed, the player with the most points wins.
On Challenge Road, this is the final challenge of Chestnut Forest and the 21st challenge overall. The goal is to beat the player's chosen rival (only two players in total play this minigame). The rival is Diddy Kong in the first playthrough, and beating him unlocks him as a playable character.

Trivia[edit]
- This minigame along with Gridiron Gauntlet and Bumper Brawl are the only three minigames where Bowser is smaller than normal. This is due to the fact that he is shrunken down to Mario's height, as his usual, larger size could put him at a disadvantage. For the ending scene, Bowser is presented in his normal size.
