Gameplay[edit]
The players are gathered in a circle, holding Bob-ombs. The teams' goal is to pass the Bob-ombs clockwise to ensure that players from opposing teams hold Bob-ombs. There are five rounds: The first round has six Bob-ombs, the second has four, the third has three, and the fourth and fifth (if necessary) have only one. If any team member is blown up by a Bob-omb, they are out and can cheer the other players on from the sidelines. The last team standing wins. In the four-player version, the first round has three Bob-ombs, and the second and third rounds have two. Any more rounds have only one.

For the normal challenge, all four teams have two allies and the game starts with five Bob-ombs in the first round (twelve players), three in the second round (seven players), two in the third round (four players), then one in the final round (two players). For the Master Challenge, the player has no allies and the game starts with four Bob-ombs in the first round (ten players), three in the second round (six players), then two in the final round (three players).
