Looking for Love is a 4-Player minigame appearing in Super Mario Party. Its name refers to when one is searching for one they want to date.

Introduction[edit]

The minigame begins with a cutscene that shows the four players running to the screen in a gym. Other characters can be seen working out in the gym. A purple Toad jumps up blocks and then to a flagpole, followed by the Toad sliding down it, similar to how Mario and Luigi did in Super Mario Bros. A Spike is seen lifting dumbbells, sweating. Two Chargin' Chucks are running on treadmills on the right side of the gym. The players then appear on the screen, and the minigame begins.

Gameplay[edit]

The players' task is to look in the direction of the heart when it appears in a circle. There are also other symbols such as clubs, spades, and diamonds, and they can appear in different colors. The first player who looks in the right direction gets five points, the second player gets three, the third player gets two, and the last one gets one. If a player looks in the wrong direction or fails to look in a direction within the time limit, they get no points. After the tenth round, the player with the most points wins.

Although this is never stated in the game, the player can also use Control Stick to look in a direction.
