A Creepy is a worm[1][2] (occasionally called a "snake"[3][4]) enemy that only appears in Donkey Kong 3. They cannot usually be defeated, and react to Stanley's sprayer by stopping and swinging. The Super Sprayer is potent enough to defeat a Creepy in one hot. In blue and gray greenhouses, Creepies crawl down vines and onto the platforms at the bottom of the screen. If it is sprayed enough before reaching the platform, the Creepy can be tricked into climbing up the vine for a short time; however, any Creepies that reaches a platform stays there until the round has ended. In the arcade version of the yellow greenhouse, three gray Creepies traverse the vines above Stanley and try to block his spray. In the Family Computer and Nintendo Entertainment System version, all Creepies are yellow. In later rounds, the number of Creepies increase; up to eight Creepies can be present in the arcade version's yellow greenhouse.

In Donkey Kong 3: Dai Gyakushū, Creepies move in midair horizontally via jetpacks instead of crawling on the ground. They first appear On the Country Road, the third stage.
