In this minigame three [[Koopa Kids]] chase the players. The players must dodge obstacles while running away. The AI is especially good at this game even on the easy level.

After that, there are three [[platform]]s moving up and down above a [[pit]], followed by narrow walkways with gaps. The third obstacle is an area with spiked bars going quickly toward the left of the screen. Finally, the Koopa Kids (who are absent in the Thwomp, platform, and spiked bar areas) start shooting [[fireball]]s. Players who make it to the finish line win.
