:I just noticed, the article calls Spangle a "he" but in the European French version, Spangle is implied to be female. He/She uses the word "honorée", which is in the feminine form, to describe his/herself; also, when he/she asks to be put in Mario's suitcase, the message "Vous obtenez une Astérie!?!" appears, which is referring to Spangle as a feminine object. Can somebody please tell me where you find Spangle?!?! Fawfulfury65

He is found in the southeastern area of Gwarhar Lagoon, past some Ultra Hammer blocks. YoshiwakerTyranitar.png

His name in French is 'Astérie'. I'll update the article appropriately as soon as I find out how (I litterally made my account a few minutes ago), unless someone else wants to first. --AriaTheWindGoddess (talk) 11:38, 31 July 2015 (EDT)

Update: I did it! I feel kinda accomplished. :D --AriaTheWindGoddess (talk) 14:22, 31 July 2015 (EDT)

Official?[edit]

The article says that he is a small Starkiss. Can someone tell me if this is official, because he doesn't look and act like one. And if it is official, it needs a citiation.M&L+No Moar Picklez=Wurld War III [[Image:SMG YellowLuma.jpg|45px]] 12:49, 10 February 2012 (EST)

I'm pretty sure I view him as a male character. But I dunno where the Starkiss thing came from. By the way, interesting info, feel free to add it to the article. BabyLuigiFire.pngRay Trace(T|C) 15:38, 31 July 2015 (EDT)
How does Spangle use "honorée" (like "Je suis honorée." or "Je suis une Astérie honorée")? Also, the "une" article doesn't necessarily mean it's a female. The French word for "person" is "une personne", for instance. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 20:26, 31 July 2015 (EDT)
Actually, that's pretty much what they mean: keys are female, computers are male, and so on and so forth all due to the whims of gender pronouns. Also, gender pronouns still abide by a person's gender (or an animal's gender or an alien's gender and so on), regardless of the rules for objects' genders. If we're talking about Jack, it's always going to be "un" (male "a"/"one"), "il" ("he"), etc. and Jill would always be "une" (female "a"/"one"), "elle" ("she"), etc. unless one of them decides to swap genders at any point in their life. Tangent aside, having a full transcript of what was said would be invaluable in solving this, but going through Let's Plays on YouTube has netted me nothing so far. Hello, I'm Time Turner.

Starkiss[edit]
