The Slowgo Candy is a red Candy in Mario Party 8. It has a picture of a green Dice Block on the wrapper and has the combined effects of the Slow 'Shroom Orb and Poison Shroom items from past Mario Party games. When used, it lets the player hit a slow-moving Dice Block with 1–5 on it instead of 1–10. In order to get the desired number, one must flick their Wii Remote one number early. It is usually more expensive than the Twice Candy, costing 10 or 15 coins. It is found on DK's Treetop Temple, Shy Guy's Perplex Express, Koopa's Tycoon Town, and Bowser's Warped Orbit.
The Candy's name is a pun on "slow-mo" (short for "slow motion"), in reference to the die's speed.
The 1-2-3 Slow Dice Block from Mario Party 10 has a near-identical effect to the Slowgo Candy, although it rolls up to 3.
