:The screencap is evidently a conversation between you and Takenuchi. It's as valid as any other source (if anything, it's more valid than the "manual page#" as a source), and I feel like disallowing the use of screencaps as valid sources could spiral into complaints against other images and especially bad relations with users, since I believe the only major complaint is the potential for tampering. However, going in with a "don't trust the editor" mentality is nonsense, especially when they're being supplied by experienced users. An update on the Smash Bros. miiverse mentions that some of the "flat" trophies have alternate poses made by the "original designers". I asked Ko Takeuchi on twitter if he was the one to draw the new material for the WarioWare/Rhythm Heaven trophies; his response was affirmative. However, he has an habit of deleting his responses after a few hour, so this screencap of my inbox is all I have.
